Main Swerve Pod
Built for FRC Team 6039, the Cypress Circuits
- Designed “swerve drive” pods capable of continuous rotation with co-axial drive/rotation shaft from scratch
- Integrated four pods into frame with chain linked drive units
- System was designed and CADed in Onshape, then manufactured largely by manual milling and TIG welding
